Still getting Ready For the Feast of Tabernacles

the joy of preparing for the feast has just been indescribable. I thought at first that it was strange that I was wanting to celebrate the feast so early in the year, yet I just knew I had this burning desire to prepare to celebrate the goodness of the LORD. So I set a date, I told people this is what I was about to do. For some reason it just seemed like the celebration should start at sun down on Friday. Then I and my family , did celebrate the goodness of the LORD. We sang songs together, we ate good food together, we played the Christian version of the Ungame together, we played a few other games together. My heart was full of joy. Joy unspeakable . At sometime, during the week of preparing or during the celebration, I don't know now, it occurred to me that I was not preparing to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles but to observe the Sabbath ! Maybe not the way the Jewish people observe the Sabbath but the way I was feeling led by the Holy Spirit to observe it. So then I reasoned, do I need to do this on only one week end a year ? Can I not do this every week end ? In my heart , I heard "yes." And so I have been doing this weekly celebration of how good the LORD is . I thought of how many people there are that would perhaps to like to join in with me and my family doing something fun, so I started asking others to come to my house and join in. So far no one has responded. They always have plans, but that is okay. My plan has been set and will always be set now to celebrate the goodness of the LORD on the Sabbath. It is a great way to end the week. I do not have any regret , but joy , as I look forward to Friday coming every week now.
